  • Proper belt sizing depends on several factors, including how tight you like your belt and how squishy you are in the middle.

     

    For best fit, measure around the fattest part of your tum, and be sure to snug the tape down a bit--because you will definitely be snugging the belt down! See our sizing video here: How to Size Your Weightlifting Belt

     

    Sizing will vary by body type, but here are our recommendations:

     

    S: 29" - 33"

    M: 32.5" - 38"

    L: 37" - 43"

    XL: 42" - 48"

     

    And if you plan to gain or lose some weight, go ahead an buy two different sizes, just in case ;-)

  • 1.  Measuring Yourself

     

    Sizing sleeves can be hard, and the "right" fit is a very personal preference. I will give you some guidance here, but feel free to reach out with questions. Also, feel free to order two pairs just in case!

     

    For use as an elbow sleeve: Using a soft tape measure, measure around your upper arm, elbow, and forearm.  Keep your arm extended and unflexed.

     

    For use as a knee sleeve: Using a soft tape measure, measure around your lower thigh, knee, and calf. Keep your leg extended and unflexed.

     

    Write down your three measurements.

     

     

    2.  Sleeve Sizes

     

    Slight variances in size can occur during the manufacturing process. Below are the approximate inside measurements for the top and bottom of each size in inches written top" - bottom"

     

    (Sleeve, not leg measurements)

    XXS: 10" - 7"

    XS: 10.75" - 8"

    S: 11.5" - 9"

    M: 12" - 9.5"

    L: 13" - 10"

    XL: 13.5" - 10.5"

    2XL: 14.5" - 11"

    3XL: 15" - 11.5"

    4XL: 15.5" - 12"

    5XL: 16" - 12.5"

    6XL: 17" - 13.5"

     

    See the next section for comparing your measurements to the sleeve measurements and picking the correct size.

     

    Remember: Sleeve fit is a personal preference. These 9mm sleeves will NOT stretch as much as 5mm or 7mm sleeves. The sizes of the sleeves (L 13" - 10") are the measurements around the inside of the top and bottom of the sleeves, NOT the leg or arm measurements they fit.

     

     

    3.  Picking the Right Size

     

    Again, the "right" fit is a very personal preference. Also, there is something called "training fit" and something called "competition fit." Training fit is comfortable enough to wear through an entire workout. Competition fit is so tight that you will want to take if off between each set or rep--and it will be hard to put on and take off.

     

    Using my own measurements as an example:

     

    Sizing for Use as an Elbow Sleeve

    • My Arm Measurements: Upper Arm 12.5", Elbow 10.5", Forearm 11" (Extended and unflexed)

    • S (11.5" - 9") fits me perfectly for my personal preference.

    • M (12" - 9.5") fits but is not as tight as I prefer.

    • XS (10.75" - 8") is too tight and cannot pull up far enough past my elbow.

     

    Sizing for Use as Knee Sleeve

    • My Leg Measurements: Lower Thigh 20", Knee 14", Calf 14.5" (Extended and unflexed)

    • XL (13.5" - 10.5") fits me perfectly for my personal preference for everyday training.

    • L (13" - 10") also fits me well, but is just a little tighter than my personal preference for everyday training.

    • M (12" - 9.5") fits me for competition fit, but is way tighter than I prefer for everyday training.
