Let me say that this Olympic bar will make you rethink your decision to not buy imported barbells--if that decision was based on the preconceived notion that "imported" means lower quality. This thing is a beast and extremely well designed. I usually prefer a much more aggressive and sharp knurling, but I am starting to dig the sandpaper-like grip of this bar for everyday training. And the four needle bearing cartridges per sleeve make this the hands-down better choice over some more cheaply made USA bars at this same price point, such as the Wright Next Gen Bearing Bar.
The build quality of the 15KG Women's Wonder Bar V2 Olympic Bearing Bar from Fringe Sport is apparent in the ease of disassembly and reassembly. The snap rings come out and go in very easily with the right pliers, and everything is precisely machined and well oiled. Click here for my tutorial on How to Disassemble an Olympic Barbell.
The parts are all well-made and the machining of the bar under the sleeve is very smooth. One thing of note is that the two needle bearing cartridges in the collar end of the sleeve do not come out. They are behind the brass ring in the picture above. They may come out with a mallet and something to force them out from the other side, but it is not necessary for regular maintenance.

A cool feature that I would like to call out are the end caps. These things are absolutely beautiful. They are the size and weight of a military challenge coin (for my brothers and sisters in arms who know what that means), and the enamel is a really cool addition. My oldest son is enamored of cool enamel pins, and he loves the look of these end caps. I may have to get some made with the Clarksville Barbell Club skull on them.
